About the Author

As chief underwriting officer, Rachele shapes underwriting strategy, product development and governance for US Assure’s builders risk program.

With more than 40 years of insurance experience, her role is rooted in extensive hands‑on risk experience and informed by years of close involvement with claims outcomes. She regularly examines claim files to uncover recurring causes of losses, coverage disputes and preventable submission errors. These findings shape underwriting standards and educational guidance designed to help agents avoid costly oversights before a policy is bound.

Rachele has a rare passion for coaching agents and brokers and seeing them succeed. Beyond her underwriting leadership, she dedicates time and resources to help US Assure’s producers understand how topics like project classification, submission and reporting accuracy, and documentation discipline can influence the way coverage responds when a loss occurs. Ultimately, Rachele’s insight helps prevent E&O errors and best meet the expectations of builders risk clients.
